YN-1828 is a medium viscosity liquid epoxy resin produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. It contains no diluents. YN1828 provides good pigment wetting and good resistance to filler settling and a high level of mechanical and chemical resistance properties in the cured state. However, as an unmodified pure bisphenol A resin, YN1828 is prone to crystallize on storage, particularly in cold conditions.
Due to its excellent performance, epoxy resin is widely used in many fields, including aerospace, electronics, construction, automobiles, etc. The main uses include as adhesives, coatings, castings, composite materials, etc.
